ROHM Semiconductor GmbH appoints Macnica GmbH as an
authorized distributor for Europe for Microcontrollers for Biometric application

Ingolstadt, January 7th, 2010 - ROHM Semiconductor GmbH announced that Macnica GmbH
has been appointed to be an authorized distributor for ROHM Semiconductor´s MCU line-up for
biometric application. Macnica GmbH is covering the entire European market.

“We have seen an encouraging growth of demand for our biometric MCU solutions in Europe and believe that the addition of Macnica GmbH services and technical support skills also from the biometric side will greatly enhance the satisfaction of customers products there.“ said Mr. Toshiya Eguchi , Sales Director at ROHM Semiconductor GmbH.

Macnica’s sales force is highly technical and able to assist customers throughout the entire design cycle. In addition, the company is ell-versed in selling biometric solutions and providing excellent technical support for ROHM Semiconductor offerings.
